Morinville’s Town-Wide Garage Sale set to return May 23

Residents and visitors alike are invited to take part in one of the community’s most anticipated
annual events as Morinville’s Town-Wide Garage Sale returns on Saturday, May 23.
Running from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event offers multiple ways to participate, whether by
browsing for bargains or hosting a sale. Shoppers can explore garage sales across the community
or visit the multi-stall sale hosted in the Morinville Leisure Centre parking lot.
The centralized location will feature a variety of vendors, along with family-friendly activities
including face painting, food trucks, and the Morinville Summer Fun Station, creating a lively
atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
Residents interested in selling items can rent a stall at the Morinville Leisure Centre for $20 plus
GST. Registration for stall rentals is open until May 19. Alternatively, homeowners can host their
own garage sale and have their address included on the official Town-Wide Garage Sale map at
no cost, provided they register by May 13.
The garage sale map will be available from May 19 to May 23 and can be picked up at Town
Hall, the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, and the Morinville Leisure Centre. The map is
designed to help shoppers plan their routes and make the most of sales happening throughout the
community.
Organizers note the event will proceed rain or shine and encourage participants to register early
to secure their spot and be included in this community-wide shopping experience.
