Bon Accord Seniors Event

More than 100 people attended the Bon Accord Senior’s Event on June 8 at the Bon Accord Arena. The evening gathering was previously scheduled to be at Centennial Park, but the organizers moved the event indoors due to the weather.

Mayor Brian Holden and elected officials were in the arena along with Town staff, who mingled with residents as everybody enjoyed a free barbeque. Participants offered congratulations to the two winners of flower-hanging baskets. Local performers, Two Bad Apples, provided entertainment.

“A huge thank you to the Bon Accord Agricultural Society for sponsoring our event,” said Lila Quinn, Recreation and Community Services Manager for the Town of Bon Accord. “Thank you to those who donated to the Food Bank, the volunteers, members of Council, and the staff who made this event possible.”
