After a 3-year hiatus, Morinville Community High School brought back the MCHS Alumni Volleyball
Tournament, and it turned out to be an overwhelming success. Fourteen teams participated. Some
experienced creaky knees and sore backs, prompting a request for an on-call masseuse or
physiotherapist for the next year. However, everyone expressed their happiness at the return of the
Alumni event.
Witnessing these athletes back in action was truly amazing. Conversations with these former students
made the teachers realize that they do indeed serve a purpose and have imparted knowledge to some
truly remarkable individuals—both past and present.
They are immensely thankful for being a part of the MCHS Legacy.
