The Morinville Farmers Market hosts every Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 9913-104 Street in Morinville, next to the Rendez-Vous Centre. It is a sponsored market from the Morinville Chamber of Commerce organized by market manager Christine Mercier. Every week there is a wide variety of vendors, and it is constantly changing. If you would like to attend each week, there is something new to check out and purchase. The market ranges from 40 to 45 vendors and brings about 500 members of the community together.
Roberta, a chamber member, stated, “Farmers markets build community and are a great place for small crafters, bakers, and all different types of farmers to sell their products. It also provides a place for the community to buy fresh quality vegetables, fruits, and other handmade items or baked goods!”
Vendors such as Divine Gems, Tasty Treats Bakery, Fashion Fusion by Shawna, Ashley and Hailey’s Stained Glass Art, Inspection Ready Woodworking, and many more can be seen at this fun-filled Sunday event afternoons.
If you are interested in getting out of the house and checking out some of the vendors, pop by 9913-104 Street in Morinville any Sunday until October.
If you want to join and become a vendor, email market@morinvillechamber.com or contact by telephone at: 780-940-7166.
