The faculty of Morinville Community High School (MCHS) participated in the annual Pink Shirt Day on February 23 to set an example for all students. Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 by two high school students in Nova Scotia after they learned that one of their fellow students was harassed for wearing pink. Every year MCHS and schools across Sturgeon County reaffirm their commitment to an accepting and inclusive learning environment that is free of bullying.
